The story behind it
I stopped seeing routines as something boring and discovered the secret to my son's sense of safety.
As adults, we sometimes feel that routines are monotonous or predictable. But with Héctor, my son, I realized something fundamental: for him, routine wasn't boredom — it was his safe harbor.
I noticed that every time we improvised or changed plans, confusion appeared, followed by resistance and, of course, a meltdown. Guided by early development and stimulation specialists, I understood it was not a whim — it was simply his need to know what came next in order to feel at peace.
As a designer and entrepreneur, I decided to turn that need into something beautiful. I wanted a companion that spoke his language, one as tender as he was. And so the character was born. Interestingly, when Héctor tried to say "paquete" (package), it came out as a sweet "Pacote." The name could not have been anything else.
Pacote is not just a support tool; it is a reflection of my son's tenderness and the result of a creative process where design and psychology come together to give your little one what they need most: the calm of knowing what to expect.
